The Kinu M47 Phoenix is fully manufactured in Europe from high quality materials. Italmill's 47mm burrs give the perfect mix of clarity and body, and the grind is infinitely adjustable for anything between espresso and cold brew. There are 50 subdivisions per rotation, and each indent is 10 microns.

The Phoenix is the most affordable Kinu and was born after a fire almost completely destroyed the Kinu factory. The clever use of ABS for the funnel and catch cup, among other things, has saved a lot of weight, while the essential parts are made of stainless steel, just like the Simplicity and Classic.

The body of the Phoenix is made of 1 piece of stainless steel, into which all parts are pressed. The perfect positioning of the 10mm shaft and black fusion burrs is therefore done completely without screws.

There is no thumb stopper, but there is a silicone strap for extra grip. You can add more tires for extra grip. Thanks to the strategic use of ABS, the Phoenix weighs 715g, over 200g less than the Simplicity and over 400g less than the Classic. In addition to espresso, the ABS catch cup can also be used for coarsely ground coffee (pour-over, french press, etc.), and you can use the optional metal magnetic receiver for espresso.

Specifically for pour-over, Kinu also has a Pour-over Burr.

For a limited time only, we supply a free aluminium catch cup and pour-over burr with the Phoenix, promotion valid until end of stock.
